The taste

Taste - A finely balanced coffee with nutty and chocolatey notes, a full body and pleasant sweetness. Particularly gentle on the stomach thanks to its low acidity.
Crema - A dense, golden-brown crema with a soft, full-bodied character.
Caffeine - A naturally higher caffeine content provides sustained energy, clarity, and a powerful espresso.

Picking – Only ripe, red coffee cherries are harvested – for optimal flavor development.

Dry bed – The cherries are spread evenly on raised drying beds.

Sun drying – Gentle drying in the sun ensures an intense, natural aroma.

Terroir

Origin – Coffea canephora (Robusta) originally comes from the Congo Basin region, which includes Ayos and Central and Southern Cameroon. Our coffee grows here under ideal natural conditions, which is reflected in its taste.
Soil – Nutrient-rich, reddish-brown tropical soils with high organic matter and natural minerality give our coffee depth and richness.
Climate – A tropical, consistently warm climate with abundant rainfall creates ideal growing conditions and ensures an aromatically balanced flavor profile.

Direct trade

Partnership – We work in partnership with coffee farmers in Ayos and beyond, sourcing fresh coffee cherries directly from them. This ensures fair prices and short transport routes.

Jobs – By processing on site, we create jobs and opportunities for people in the region and beyond.

Support – We also support farmers in the sustainable management of their plantations.
